He is president of the European Certification Board for Logistics (ECBL) and the Federal Association Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics Austria (BMÖ). He is a member of the board of the Federal Association of Logistics Austria (BVL) and heads its regional office in Styria.
In addition to his passion for logistics, there is also his love of literature and distance. Helmut Zsifkovits combines the professional necessity of stays abroad with a personal desire to travel. He also likes to write away from scientific topics. He searches for and finds thoughts and words, especially in the deserts of the American South, the primeval forests of Colombia, the English moors or under the volcanoes of Iceland. And when words fail, there are the pictures.
